I just found out about the "Abandoned Shit Weekly Contest" by @customnature :) This week's theme is "Commercial/Industrial".
My entry is from the abandoned naval shipyard on Mare Island near Vallejo in California, USA. The shipyard was operational from 1853 to 1996 and on its 5,200 acres you'll find all kinds of industrial buildings, cranes, heavy machinery, train tracks etc. in different states of decay.

As can be seen from earlier posts with Esca, this is also a great location for portrait photography :)
