Tugu is a building, usually made of stone and brick, or other damaged materials. The monument serves as a sign of a place, historical event, or person associated with the place of the monument.
In this monument is an important figure in the history of Indonesia. Both of these figures were very influential on Indonesian independence. They are
former president Ir. Soekarno and his deputy Drs. Mohammad Hatta.
This statue is two figures are reading the proclamation of independence of the Republic of Indonesia. The monument was opened since 2000 and is known as the 10 November monument. November 10, 1945 is a war occurring in Surabaya.
And for now, every November 10 becomes Indonesia's national holiday. Because November 10 is known as the day of heroes.
