What can come after more than 30 years of solidarity and loyalty to one of the greatest rock bands of our time? Of course, a family project:PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS is formed by the MOTÖRHEAD guitarist Phil Campbell with his sons Todd, Dane and Tyla as well as the singer Neil Starr. As support, the quartet brings the Danish HELLHORSE with them, which will certainly make an energetic opening program with their raw mixture of dirty metal, punk and classic rock.
Incidentally, the birth of PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS was in August 2016 at the legendary Wacken Festival in Germany. Since then, the band has released a self-titled EP and has played numerous headline shows and festivals across Europe. They also accompanied SAXON on two separate tours in November / December 2016 and GUNS N 'ROSES in June 2017.
Of course, I do not miss that kind of healing. On Tuesday the 06.03.2018 I went to the concert of PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS. The location of the Bi Nuu was very cozy and enjoyable. We stood in front of the stage and enjoyed the closeness to the band and to Phil Campbell. Alone The opening band HELHORSE was impressive.
The concert was legendary, I am looking forward to hearing from PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS as well as HELHORSE.

I saw them live last October, actually I organized the festival where they played and I was at the backstage talking to Phil's sons, really nice people. It was a great concert, with a mix of Motörhead songs, classic songs and their own songs. Great and young band.
