Noni (Morinda citrifolia) is an evergreen tree from the hottest areas of Southeast Asia. Of its fruit, yellow or green and oval in shape, a juice is obtained, known for its therapeutic properties.

With its dense consistency, dark brown color, strong smell and sour taste, noni juice is actually one of the most beneficial in the world. The fruit is rich in vitamins, minerals, oligoelements, enzymes, plant sterols and amino acids. Many of the properties of Noni are attributed to the enzyme xeronin, an important component of the cell membrane that exerts a regenerative and repairing action on damaged cells and regulates the function of proteins.

The juice gives energy and fights the weakness, because the enzymes that it contains favor the assimilation of amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Noni also stimulates the secretion of endorphins and serotonin, improving mental efficiency and mood.

Its intake has vasodilatory effects that result in the regulation of blood pressure. Noni has useful properties in protecting the liver from the main diseases that threaten it, thanks to the presence of scopoletin.

Benefits for memory

Noni juice can have beneficial effects on memory problems. Studies have shown how juice intake promotes blood flow to the brain and brings benefits to memory.

Diabetes:

Regular consumption of noni juice improves insulin sensitivity and stimulates glucose absorption.

Wounds:

The juice of noni accelerates the healing of wounds. In fact, its intake seems to improve the function of collagen and hydroxyproline.

The polysaccharides contained in the noni juice stimulate the activity of white blood cells. The scopoletin present in the juice has antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties that help protect the body even more.

Noni juice for the skin

Apply Noni juice to treat skin inflammation, minor burns and minor abrasions. Not only that, but Noni also contains vitamin C and selenium, two antioxidants capable of counteracting the action of free radicals and cellular aging.

Better if you consume Noni juice with continuity for at least two months and better if it is fasting to avoid disturbances with other foods. You can mix the Noni with other fruit juices (like cranberry, apple and grape), in order to improve the taste, which, by its nature, has a bitter taste and an unpleasant odor. The juice should be taken on an empty stomach to avoid interference with other foods. After drinking Noni, it is important to wait at least half an hour before eating, as digestion may compromise the absorption of the active ingredients contained in the juice.

It is not recommended to drink Noni juice with milk, coffee, tea or alcohol, as these drinks are likely to limit the correct absorption of substances contained in Noni by the body. In general, it is advisable not to combine it even with tobacco smoke and guarana, to avoid excessively stressing the metabolism.
