The Nomadic Approach to Reinventing the Wheel is an 8.5% alcohol/volume Imperial Double IPA made by Root + Branch Brewing in Long Island, New York in collaboration with Evil Twin Brewing. Evil Twin Brewing is a nomadic beer creator from Denmark. Their beers are contracted to be made in over 10 different breweries around the world. Root + Branch is a small, micro-brewer that launched a new brewery in 2018. Together they created the The Nomadic Approach to Reinventing the Wheel, a hazy IIPA named after the gypsy-like tendencies of both brew-makers.

The Can

The Nomadic Approach to Reinventing the Wheel is served in a full pint can. It's a colorless can, featuring a white label with black letters. Both Root + Branch and Evil Twin Brewing's names are featured at the top of the can. A series of triangles form an interesting logo in the center.

The Beer

The Nomadic Approach to Reinventing the Wheel was hazy and creamy IIPA. As you can see in the photo below, it was a bright yellow color and formed a fluffy head of foam when I poured it into a can. The beer was juicy with tropical, pineapple flavors. Overall it was a really great collaboration. I look forward to trying more beers from both Root + Branch and Evil Twin Brewing in the future.
