Mellow Tone N’ Juice is a 8.5% Imperial/Double IPA made by Other Half Brewing Company in collaboration with Rigs of Dad. Other Half Brewing is a Brooklyn beer company that was founded in 2014 by three dudes that decided they wanted to "create beers that they wanted to drink from a company that they wanted to be a part of." Since then they have been busting out delicious beers and also collaborating with many different beer makers. The Mellow Tone N’ Juice was brewed with Rigs of Dad for Other Half's upcoming event at the Exit/In venue in Nashville, Tennessee during the Craft Brewers Conference.

The Can
The can of the Mellow Tone N’ Juice features what looks like a robot... but when you look closer you can see it's just an amplifier to bust out the mellow, the tone and the juice (all of which are on full blast). A Rogaine joke was thrown in there since it's a Rigs of Dad collaboration. Overall it was a great beer label for a delicious beer.
The Beer
I tried the Mellow Tone N' Juice during a beer share with my friends Nick Capalbo and @kirm-it. It's brewed with lots of oats and loaded with Citra, Galaxy, Denali and Tomahawk hop powder. The result is a creamy, delicious IIPA that fits the name quite well. It has a mellow tone (even at 8.5% alc/vol) and it drinks very smooth. The juicy taste of papaya and mango coat the palate as you sip this delicious beer. Overall it was once again a top notch juice-bomb from Other Half Brewing Company. I look forward to trying more from them in the future!

Don't think I've ever tried a papaya or mango beer before. This sounds like those flavors blend well together.
