Beer of the day: L’Insolente. (engl)
The Insolente of the brewery La Berlue in Gaillac.
American Rye IPA, unfiltered, 6°.
Copper colour pulling towards the red, slightly veiled.
The foam is generous, with irregular bubbles.
On the nose, the (numerous) hops set the tone, it will be exotic fruits but attention, without exaggeration, nothing vulgar.
In the mouth, it is voluptuous, not very effervescent, bitterness is very present, one guesses an additional cereal (rye in this case).
It has a beautiful length, frank.
In summary, a beer a little more discreet than the American IPA but which fulfils its role very well, between beer of thirst and beer of tasting.
I buy the t-shirt!
