Fahrbier - Driver Beer
The Drivers Drink aka Fahrbier
Weekend is calling and on a late Friday afternoon we start into a weekend with 10+ families somewhere in the Belgian Ardennes.
Get a 0.0% Beer for the driver
ice cold Leffe with 0.0% Alc
Our first try is the beloved Leffe without any alcohol. It taste ok, but a bit different.
They had the beer in a fridge at a filling station and it was as cold as I got beers in Australia 🇦🇺 where beer nearly comes frozen out of the tap.
Jupiler 0.0%
The second try was a Jupiler as they had a very special price for two cans.

Yes, this is close to how a Jupiler taste and you don‘t miss so much. Great to have a drink for the driver beneath the normal water.
Some nice beer 🍺 makes the travel time a lot more short.

I never thought of reviewing a non alcoholic beer. Glad to hear they taste similar. Haven't had one in years.

The 0.0% beers are becoming better and better.
I always wondered what would happen if I would drink some in the office and discussed with colleagues. Most of them said it's a no-go. So I asked why and the only answer was: "Because it's still a beer at the workplace!"
This was again a nice proof of how "mindf_cked" many people are. Beer at the workplace would not be accepted even it has 0.0% alc.
Now I need to get my #beersaturday post online :)

I did see it last week and was baffled by it!

Hi Peter, yes, never saw a non alc Leffe before, so we had to try it.
Ich glaube, wir sollten mal eroieren, was mit dem Alkoholentzug dem Bier noch alles so entzogen wird, oder? In der Zwischenzeit mal ein anderes alkoholfreies !BEER für Dich!
