Brickway Pils!

Brickway Brewery and Distillery - Omaha, Nebraska

Beer Review

Brickway's Pils is a 4.8% alcohol/volume brew with a very nice golden color. At the first sip, you get the aromas of the malted barley . The body is incredibly smooth. They dub it, "The beeriest of all beers" and it does not disappoint. Nothing overly crazy about this brew, just a nice solid drinker and a good old-fashioned pilsner!

The Can

The Brickway Pils can features a map layout of the old market (the downtown district of Omaha). They take great pride in being locally brewed. The artwork is also from a local tattoo artist just down the street from the brewery. (The artwork for different brews is fantastic so stay tuned as I will do more beer reviews from them!) Also, if you look closely, you will see that the "B" is a tattoo artists rendering of the number "13" showing the location of the brewery on 13th and Jackson street.

The Brewery

The owner, Zac, went to brewery and distillery school in Scotland prior to opening in Omaha. Also, Brickway is the first brewery/distillery in the state of Nebraska since prior to prohibition! Their beer is sold in neighboring states but the demand is quickly growing! Here is Omaha, a 6-pack runs you $7.99. Look for this in your local stores or stop by and visit! You will not be disappointed!

Happy #beersaturday! Thanks for reading!

Nice post, and the beer looks great in the glass!!

A gotta try a beer that claims to be the "beeriest". That would be an interesting contest. Nice review, thanks.

Thank you sir, I have a nice oak-aged imperial stout from the same company that I will type up later tonight or tomorrow. That one was smooth!
