Brawler

PUGILIST STYLE ALE
The most approachable of our ales, Brawler is malt forward and delicately hopped for a knockout flavor. Its smooth character, hints of caramel and toast, and remarkable drinkability define this ruby colored brew as a true session ale. Perfect for when you want to go a few rounds.

Our Thoughts

Today we have "Brawler" which is a English-Style Dark Mild Ale that could be compared to a Light Lager. At 4.2 ABV's this is still light beer, but it still has some kick. This is a very light tasting beer that is made for a warm summer day. If you are looking to just kick back and chill out this is the beer for you.

English-Style Dark Mild Ale

English dark mild ales range from deep copper to dark brown often with a red tint in color. Malt flavor and caramel are part of the flavor and aroma profile while, licorice and roast malt tones may sometimes contribute to the flavor and aroma profile. Body should be low-medium to medium. These beers have very little hop flavor or aroma. Very low diacetyl flavors may be appropriate in this low-alcohol beer. Fruity-ester level is very low.

What does ABV/IBU mean?

ABV
ABV stands for Alcohol By Volume and is listed as a percentage and lets you know how much of your beer is alcohol and how much is other stuff.

IBU
stands for International Bitterness Units measures the bitterness from hops in a beer on a scale of 0 to 100.

Beer Fact of the Day

Beer cans in Japan have braille on them so blind people dont confuse alcoholic drinks with soft drinks.

Nice to hear from you autovoters.
One of these days we will share a beer together.

@beercraft I was thinking of doing a one a week beer review. I think the focus would be on Michigan beers (since that is where I live). Do you mind if I @ ya when I make them? I used to do a beer review journal for myself, so I have a decent amount of available content on the subject. haha. Having you re-steem it may be a nice boon for me since you have the beer audience.

Haha curtross.
