Well, here I am, drunk and having fun trading crypto on a beautiful night in Tokyo. Weather is great, mid 70's, high humidity and a nice breeze.

I found this place via http://beertengoku.com ,hands down the best site for micro breweries in Japan. For great, detailed information I suggest visiting their review http://beertengoku.com/2015/04/29/spring-valley-brewery-in-daikanyama-tokyo/?utm_source=ReviveOldPost&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost

Spring Valley opened in April, 2017 and offers several beers choices from saison, to IPA, to fruity. In addition they have a full menu for food, steaks, salads, etc. I opted for a sampler pairing which was about $23. I have to admit though I'm not a fan of a lot of these flavors. Creature of habit and sucker for darker beers & IPA's. Having said that the Daydream was pretty good as was the After Dark Stout paired with the chocolate. Everything else was meh. Perhaps the BTC savaging of alt coins had something to do with it though. See all that red on my machine.

After my initial beer sampler I opted for the Copland Pilsner & Fish & Chips pairing. Steak was a little out of my price range sarting at $40. The Copeland had a nice honey aftertaste which went well with the fish. To make things even better every breeze that came through was refreshing. Amazing summer weather.

i would definitely recommend visiting this place as there is a wide range of flavors for everyone to enjoy. The environment was nice too with plenty of tables indoor & outdoor. Address is Japan, 〒150-0034 Tōkyō-to, Shibuya-ku, Daikanyamachō, 13−1, ログロード代官山

This place looks amazing, really well put together for such a new brewery! I may just start planning a Japan trip focusing on that beertengoku site!

Like I said, the beer wasn't special, but it was a great atmosphere, so much so I'd happily go back and drink mediocre beer. Food was pretty good. I'm going to try to hit up a beer garden tonight. I think they are modeled after German beer gardens. Usually on the roof tops of tall buildings.

That Beertengoku guy is awesome. I've been trying to get him on steemit, but no bites. His site is a treasure-trove of Japanese beerology.

I really need to find my way over to Japan. A friend of mine visited a couple years back and loved it. The only things holding me back...cost and that long flight...bad back and knees don't do well in airplane seats :)

Ya, hear ya about the flights. My back & knees are wrecked from skating & boarding, so you just gotta get up and move every hour or two.

As for the cost, steemit can help with that. Just keep those beer posts coming. :)

That's the plan! :)
