Beer Tasting - Baltic Porter ('5th Element BART' by Daruvar Brewery)
This week I’m thankful for the wonderful family of the 5th Element beers! First stop ABA, next stop BART.
What could be a better way to say farewell to a friend than taking him to an Irish pub? So it went. One more stop to Sheridan’s.
I have already mentioned it here. I’ve given the address of my blog to the interested waiter so we might get newcomers. Hooray!

| Appearance | Black. Brownish head quickly gone but tasty. |
| Aroma | Notes of dark chocolate (80%+). Smell is malty. Some dried fruit, cranberry? Complex, I like it. |
| Taste | Heavy. Overwhelming but also on the sweet side. Nice bittersweet aftertaste which lingers some. Just about right roasty maltiness. |
| Palate | Watery and mild carbonation. Alcohol warms the throat a little. |

| Overall | Polite version of Tomislav beer. Does a good job, but lacks tradition. After-work beer. Put it on Beer Thursday list! I hope the score goes up on RateBeer. Not enough ratings yet I’d say. |

Price: 24 kuna (3.50 $) for 0.5 bottle. Pub - light splurge for this quality
