RE: For a More Beautiful You!

Thank you for this! How is it for sensitive skin? I'm trying to find a new serum but so many of them irritate my skin and create even more dry skin :( Would I use a little less Vitamin C?

Hi Mallory! The recipe above is a full strength vitamin C. If you have sensitive skin I would suggest starting with only 1 tsp Vitamin C - once you've gone through one batch, if your skin responded well then add another tsp (for a total of 2 tsp) the next batch. If you're still ok after that (and the skin does get "used to" the vitamin C) then you can go with the full tablespoon.

You may also want to add the aloe vera instead of the glycerine as it has it's own soothing properties. You could even replace some of the water with aloe.

The Hyaluronic acid will pull moisture to your skin so that component should help you as well.

Play around with it and you'll be sure to find a balance that works for your skin.

Thanks for stopping by and do come back and let me know how it worked!

Thank you! For dry sensitive skin I imagine I should start with 1tsp Vitamin C as well.

Yes! Always better to start with a lower strength and work your way up.

Buying the raw ingredients is great because 1)you can customize to your needs and 2) there’s enough to make many, many batches.
