Cosmetics are a product used to enhance or alter the appearance of the face and texture of the body. Many cosmetics are designed for use in applying to the face, hair, and body. Generally, they are mixed with the chemical compound, some being derived from natural sources and some being artificial.

The common cosmetic includes lipstick, eyeshadow, skin cleanser, body lotion, mascara, foundation, shampoo and conditioner, perfume and hairstyle product like gel, hairspray, etc. The cosmetic applies to the face to enhance its appearance are often called makeup. Cosmetic is the process intended to be applied to the human body for cleansing, beautifying, promoting, attractiveness or altering the appearance without affecting the body's structure.
