Almond flowers appear on the tree before the leaves.
Now is the time for almond blossom. In warm countries, the time when almonds are blooming means the beginning of spring. I can not convey the fragrance of flowers through a photo, only visual beauty...

"Blossoming Almond Tree" ("Amandelbloesem") is the name of the famous painting by Vincent van Gogh, written by him in Saint-Remy-de-Provence in 1890
This picture meant the beginning of a new life and was written when his younger brother was born. As a plot, the artist depicted the branches of an almond tree, which begins to bloom very early and very abundantly.

Looking at the canvas, the viewer sees the branches of a tree. It seems that branches covered with white flowers seem to hover in a clear blue sky.

The branches occupy a large part of the picture and stand out against the general background due to the fact that they are emphasized by a dark, sharp contour.

The painting "Amandelbloesem" by Van Gogh is exhibited in the museum of Amsterdam.
Unfortunately, I was not in the museums of Amsterdam. But I took shots of blossoming almond branches, a tree that grows in my locality.
