Went to an old temple last week #BeautifulSunday. There was this stage set up facing the temple and people are performing Chinese opera for the gods. Usually, the performing troop is engaged to perform in celebration of some event or to thank the gods.

上个美丽星期天去了个古寺。那里搭起了这潮剧戏台向着城隍庙。通常，戏团被请来是为了庆祝活动或答谢神恩。

It was a hot day. Some of the photos seems a bit smoky and that was because it's really the smoke from burning of the joss sticks and joss paper.
