STEEMIT BEAT BATTLE LEAGUE: WEEK 1 My Entry :)
Hey Steemit music lovers :D
This is my entry in to first Steemit Beat battle, hosted by @chiefmappster , thank you for this chance to showcase my skills :)
From the two possible tracks to sample, i choose the first one, titled : Boom Clap Bachelors - Løb Stop Stå
I didnt like the intro of the original, (to dark for me), so i focused on sampling the main part of the original track, and making some interesting flips. I really like the groovy bassline in this one .
I added some drums (Native instruments expansion pack : Queensbridge story , Kit: Jack & Coke ) , and had some fun with compressors, filters and what not :D
When i had my ideas ready to make a full beat, i decided to record a live mix, and take a video of it, so its more interesting to watch , and you can see whats going on .

I really enjoyed your entry, very smooth, positive vibes, a bit funky and a head mover. Really really fresh bro. Love the visuals you provided too. That is so funny that you didn't like the dark intro, that is the only part I used for my entry. Hope you can take something from mine and doesn't bring you down too much lol I like all kinds of beats, but I do dip into the dark sounds every now and then, probably cause I like the suspense it provides. You entry is a straight banger, Can't wait to hear more of your entries. I could definitely write a singing or emceeing track to this for sure! Great job again.
Thank you very much it means a lot ! :) Yeah i was going for this summer funky groove the momment i heard that bassline. The intro was a bit dark for me but they are still great strings samples, definetly worth using :) but i knew ill have more fun with the main part of the song myself ;) . It think you entry is great man, it gets me pumped up , love the sampling you did and the powerfull drum beat, i feel like Busta Rhymes would sit nice on this track :) Cant wait to hear more of your entries aswell :) , this beat battle really is a great idea, bringing people together.
