Beat Battle League: Week Two Update
Fueling of the tremendous success of the first week of The Beat Battle League, the team has created some awesome updates we wanted to share for the Steemit community.
First, the team has made an update to the Beat Battle League logo. As you see below, @nicnas dropped the beatle theme from the name and logo and made it reflect the name "Beat Battle League."
Thanks to @rondonson for letting us use the logo you purchased for this first week. We really appreciate it. Thanks again; keep doing great things bud.
And thanks again @nicnas for all the epic design work you have and continue to do. You really are one of Steemit's OG design ninjas. That dude is always on Discord so reach out to him if you need any efficient and effective designs and branding done. Thanks again @nicnas .

I absolutely love it. I think it reflects the battle nature of the competition with the martial artists, while displaying the beat element.
I have learned nothing is ever "perfect" in the heads of designers. So @nicnas insists this is just a version 1.0 and he is working on updates; but shit, I freaking love this so much I can't even imagine little changes to it to maximize the potential of it.
The next update to the Beat Battle League is some awesome behind-the -scenes computer design work done by @internetguy .
If you don't know about @internetguy , he is in my opinion one of Steemit's OG web design ninjas. He did the web scripts for the Steem Poker League (@spl)'s premiere poker portal: http://www.lucksacks.com
As part of the array of community-building tools he has and is building for the leaders of Steemit communities, @internetguy is letting the Beat Battle League be is guinea pig for this amazing range of community building tools.
The first tool released last night on http://www.beatbattleleague.com/ is a Beat Battle League Leaderboard.
As you can see, it is a version 1.0 but nonetheless wanted to share these developments with the Steemit to show how much we care about this community.
The week one results of the Beat Battle League will be updated by tonight to reflect the current standings and include more graphics, visuals, and links to the website.
Eventually, the Beat Battle League Leaderboard will be interactive and will include fun little side contests and games like @internetguy did for the Steem Poker League below.
We hope by leading example and showing what a brand new Steemit community is capable of that other Steemit community leaders will follow and go "all-in" to help build and grow these amazing communities.
We have a small window to grow and make sure these communities are set up effectively and efficiently before the masses come with mainstream adoption.
If you are leader of a Steemit community, my recommendation is to take the blow now; put in your own personal time, resources, and energy into building these Steemit communities the right way and everything will work out fine in the future regardless if something happens to Steemit. the communities will still be there and in tact.
The last and final update in this post is just a little adjustment first to the week two prize pool to compensate for the 10 SBD monthly hosting fee for http://www.beatbattleleague.com/ .
And second, the amazing token, BeyondBit will be introduced as a bonus prize to the winners. The plan is to use a few BeyondBit coming to myself, for being one of the eight contestants from last week's WhaleTank Hangout, to help expose and introduce this amazing @officialfuzzy project to other Steemians that might be unfamiliar to BeyondBit.
The two main supporters of the Beat Battle League is @jphenderson through his amazing Whaleshares token (details at end of post) and myself (@chiefmappster).
We love building these community, but just had to make a little financial accounting adjustment for this week two to compensate for the 10 SBD monthly hosting fee initiated this week. Next week's prize pool will be back up to 60 SBD and hopefully will grow each week to compensate the support from the Steemit community. The BBL is built by the community for the community. We can't wait to see this league grow to its fullest potential here in the near future.
