Deep Thoughts On A Rocky Beach
Love the sound the ocean wash makes when it rolls up onto a round-rock beach. Rather musical, in an odd, hollow, klinky sort of way. As the water recedes, the round rocks gently clack together, like ancient, earthly bones in the wind, and ever-slowly shrink infinitesimally smaller and smaller over time, continuing on through the same cycle, over and over and over again, even long after I've gone home.

I don't know if you dive, or when you do, you come back up again, but the sound is great under water as well.
Not a diver, but done quite a bit of ocean snorkeling. Probably where some of this sound remembrance came from. I did snorkeling/fish surveys in large rivers too, and the sound of the LARGE cobbles/boulders klonking around on the bottom of the river was also very impressive. Makes one feel rather small...
Yes, and the smaller rocks at the beach make a such nice sound, mesmerising, almost makes you forget you are diving without a cylinder.
Is that free diving, without an air tank?
Yes. Not something to forget about.

Glad I could bring back some nice memories. Amazing how sounds bring a flood of life-stuff back to us. When I started writing that, I remembered the sounds from snorkeling the ocean. Thanks for the look and comment, have a nice day.

Like those rocks, pebbles and stones, we all get weathered and grinded down to some extent... Nice shot!
