Coinbase listed Bitcoin Cash and the price quadruples in seconds.
With something this outrageous happening, many are suspecting insider trading.

Is it illegal to do “inside trading” if it’s with crypto?
Yes. If it turns out that's what happened, some people at Coinbase could be looking at jail time. But we should wait for evidence and for the meantime suppose that people just got a little carried away.
coinmarketcap has it at about the same as coinbase right now, but Holy Cow. I wish I had that information and I would have had sells at $6000.
Crypto is still the wild west. I'll stick to Larimer's stuff.
I think the $8k number might have been some sort of technical error. The price is back down to the $3ks for the time being. Probably best not to get too excited about this.

I think CLee has made enough money to buy a small island off LTC and I'm happy for him; he earned it. The question is how the funds flowed back into the market so quickly. Coinbase floods all the time and it takes about 20 hours for small transactions. Dirty foot awork here. The little guys like me, didn't get screwed, but the big dogs made a ton. Welcome to the new Wall Street.
