The registration fee is in STEEM. As long as SBD is more valuable than STEEM, we will accept SBD instead and consider the extra value a donation. If you don't want to make that donation, it is very easy to sell SBD for STEEM using the Market (link appears when you click your STEEM holdings in your Steemit wallet.)
