So how do I get someone to sponsor me into the program, sorry if I appear a little on the slow side still learning and discovering all this steem steemit stuff. But reccon that I'll get the hang of it.
You don’t have to wait to be sponsored. You can enroll yourself. This is how: send 1 steem to @basicincome. You do this by transferring steem to @basicincome. Go to your wallet, push on steem, it says transfer. If you don’t have steem, but only some steempower. You first power down. The steempower gets transferred to steem, then you can transfer it, as discribed above. You can nominate somebody, and actually sponsor another person.
Thanks for the info, but working on building my steem power, so every bit of steem I earn I turn into steem power at least for the first 3 months.

And please don't power down to join! Powering down has an immediate negative impact on your voting power, and it takes 13 weeks to fully deliver the amount you power down.
