San Francisco Giants 24-24: The ace less Giants continue to stick around in a division that no one wants to claim.
Tampa Bay Rays 22-23: Career reliever Romo starts back-to-back games. Bizarre.
Cleveland Indians 22-23: The best of the horrible AL Central.
Toronto Blue Jays 22-25: The baby Jay’s, Guerrero, Bichette and Alford are begging for a call up.
Minnesota Twins 19-23: Gone streaking again.
Los Angeles Dodgers 20-26: Is Dave Roberts job safe?
Detroit Tigers 20-26: The division isn’t out of reach for the Miggy-less Tigers.
Texas Rangers 18-30: Gallo made headlines by not wanting to play third base this week. He better because so far he’s just another failed Texas infielder.
San Diego Padres 20-28: Lyles came close to having the first Padres no hitter last week. It’s something.
Miami Marlins 17-29: Not as horrendous as everyone thought. Speaks volumes for Don Mattingly.
Cincinnati Reds 16-32: 13-13 since the Bryan Price firing. Good for you, Reds.
Baltimore Orioles 14-32: Start the fire sale already!
Kansas City Royals 14-32: It’s sorta sad to see how far the Royals have fallen since their 2015 championship run.
Chicago White Sox 13-30: The prospects are not playing well and they play in the worst division in baseball.
We picked up Bautista!
Sure does look like the Bombers bullpen will be the difference over my Sox in a very tough big-money, free-for-all in the AL East.

AL East is going to be an awesome race to watch. I’m excited to see how that plays out. I don’t think the Phillies are as good as their record. Dodgers were one of the favorite heading into the season huge disappointment so far, a lot of the season left to play.
The most interesting thing about the A.L. East race is exactly what the analytically-inclined front offices of the Yankees and the Sox think about the cost of avoiding a 1 game playoff. How much future value do they put on the very real increase in playoff odds represented by not being in the one and done game where anything can happen. No matter how much better they would be than their playoff opponent, they would still lose that game say 40% of the time? Is that worth the sacrifice in pushing pitchers hard down the stretch? Is a prospect for vet trade worthwhile to win the division?
