Dodgers win in thirteen to even series

It took the Los Angeles Dodgers 13 innings to down the Milwaukee Brewers 2-1 last night in a nail bitter . The Dodgers and the Brewers used all of their position players in this nip and tuck game , they also used all of their relief pitchers in trying to win this crucial game of the nlcs. The Dodger starter Rich Hill pitched brilliantly in five inning of his work allowing three hits and one run. Gio Gonzales lasted only one inning when he tried to make a play on a ball hit back to him and he twisted his angle and had to leave the ball game. F. Peraita took over after that and pitched three strong innings giving up no runs or hits while striking out six batters. The dodgers scored their first run in the first on a one out single by Brian Dozier. It stayed that way until the top of the six inning when pinch hitter D. Santana hit a run scoring double with no outs in the fifth. Each team had their chances to score , The Dodgers left Twelve runners on base and the Brewers left eleven runners aboard. The relief pitching was extraordis (53).jpginary on both sides , the Dodgers relief corp gave up no runs in eight innings plus. Cody Bellinger drove in the winning run with a one out single after Manny Machado got on base with a broken bat single, and a wild pitch allowed him to advance to second, and he slid at home just beating the throw from Christian Yelich to win the thriller.
