Dodgers trounce the Mets

The Los Angeles Dodgers win 11-4: with the win they now have won nine of eleven ball games. They were led by David Freese and Austin Barnes who hit solo home runs. The New York Mets were leading 4-0 and were cruising until the Dodgers bats came alive.Los Angeles starter Rich Hill gave them a chance for the victory . After he gave up those four runs in the first two inning he buckled down and he gave up no runs in the next four innings on only one hit. The Dodgers scored six runs in the six inning to break the game wide open, everyone contributed to this Dodger win. Manny Machado, David Freese, Austin Barnes. and Chris Taylor had two hits apiece, with Austin Barnes driving in three runs. The bullpen was superb again allowing no runs on three innings of work. They play the last game of this three game set this afternoon at a rare 4pm starting time. With starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu going against Zack Wheeler of the New York Mets this should be another good one.
