Dodgers advance to world series

The Los Angeles Dodgers eliminated the Milwaukee Brewers from a trip to the world series with a 5-1 victory Saturday night. The dodgers got strong pitching from their rookie right hander Walker Buehler who went four and two thirds innings giving up six hits and one run . The dodgers relief corps was as good as ever. giving up just one hit and no runs in four and one third inning while striking out seven batters. Madson, Kenly Jansen , and Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw came on in the ninth inning and got the final three outs. Christian Yelich of the brewers started the first inning with a solo shot to right center field that barely cleared the fence to make it 1-0 Brewers. The Dodgers roared back with two runs of their own in the second inning . Manny Machado laid down a perfect two strike bunt and Cody Bellinger immediately followed with a monsterous shot into the right field bleachers for a dodger 2-1 lead. The brewers brought in John Hader their stopper, in the third inning and the was still 2-1. Until the the six inning the dodgers got it going again Max Muncey, And Cody Bellinger got base hits to lead off the frame, and with one out Yasiel Puig hit a line drive home run to left center field to break the game wide open and preserve the win . The Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Boston Red Sox Tuesday night for the first game of the series. Which is the best four of seven, for the world championship.
