Of the 77 domes, the surfaces of 70 are round and the seven domes between the door between the east wall and the mihrab between the west wall are very similar to the rice of the Chauchala house in Bangladesh. The number of domes in the minarets stands at 4 as the total number of domes is 81 Yet its name has been shat gumbuuj. Supposedly, there are seven rows of domed rows, as the mosque has seven domes and sixty domes. Many historians think that the name shat is gumbbuj because the domes are located on 60 stone pillars.

Today, the history of Bagerhat is traced to the Bangla Sultanate of Sultan Nasir al-Din Mahmud (1442-1459). His tomb is mentioned as the year of his death, which shows that the city was built in the 14th century. He built a city, a reservoir, many mosques and shrines, and his own shrine, which is all "the architecture of Khan Jahan", with roads, bridges and water supply reservoirs (ponds - two ponds still: "Ghoradighi" and "Dargadighi"). Khan Jahan lived and did many public works. It is known that for political and economic reasons, the Sultanate of Delhi wanted to propagate Islam in the far reaches of India, and Ulugh Jahan was given the task. Ulugh Jahan was known as an administrator for his extraordinary skills and architectural knowledge. He was also a nobleman, a saint who avoids unnecessary personal achievements.
