We are looking for n. 2 steemians to join our managing staff crew
- Who are the current staff members?
@f3nix, @brisby, @marcoriccardi, @calluna, @hidden84 (the last with an advisory role)
- What's their role within the community?
They post and take care of the @bananafish account. Through the contests, they give life to this community which develops around fiction and poetry.
- Who are we looking for?
We are looking for n. 2 members that will run the Finish the Story contest, each of them once per month (if we are 4, I included, then everyone can take care of a week). Running the contest means: creating a good prompt (the first half of the story), posting twice, curating, upvoting, resteeming, supporting, judging, distributing the rewards.. make the bananafish mojo flow and the magic happen!
With a team of 6 active staff members we'll organize this way: Marco in charge of the Mizu no Oto contest / Calluna in charge of the Tell a Story to Me contest / I, Brisby + 2 in charge of the Finish The Story contest, each of the 4 will take care of 1 week per month.
- Who's this post addressed to?
Everyone. Of course, we will give preference to our delegating members and community. We look for someone that loves reading, writing, and the fiction genre in particular.
- Why this change?
Because Mrs. F3nix is finally back from abroad after 2 years and now family life can continue! I will be less on Steemit, this is a happy thing for me but, at the same time, I love this project so much. It has enormous potential, we did amazing things together, everyone put so much passion and I'd love it to keep prospering. Besides, I always believed in the beauty of things when they're shared. That's it.
- Yes, everything is so cool, but what do I gain in being part of the staff crew?
- Seems juicy, where can I candidate myself?

I like everyone on your staff (although I don't know @hidden84). My life is peaceful and I'm not looking for a regular commitment, but if there is any way I can help, casually, I'd be glad to lend a hand...All they have to do is call on me--DM or otherwise and I will volunteer my time.

Thanks for your offer, @agmoore, we can always count on you. Yes, the family has the priority. This experience is giving me - and, I hope, to every Bananafishian - much more than a simple distraction from a temporary messed period. I'm very confident that we can organize in a decentralized way, distributing the tasks and the glory (and of course the fun!).
Curating and possibly judging will be the most difficult task for me, @f3nix. The rest I have no problem with. I'd be willing to start out with running one contest a month after ironing out my above issues. Practice will get me there as well as having someone to speak with as I learn the process.

Thanks man, seriously. We already DMed about this between us and your push to keep all this going on was essential for me. We need to find one person that can deal with the whole package, including prompt writing independently and yes... judging is a bitch I can tell you. I want to say that delegating members have always a special place and this crew membership doesn't exclude any knight or acolyte to write a story or to participate like always. Let's see how things develop and then update ourselves with a brainstorm, cheers.
The temptation to offer myself up for the Cause is tremendous but I will not yield! 😆
Seriously though, I think like @agmoore (except my life isn't peaceful 😱)... And I know I won't be reasonably consistent with a monthly endeavor. I would be honored to send a prompt or two in the @bananafish's direction when inspiration strikes. In the purely theoretical case you can't fill the positions (but of course you will!), perhaps I could serve as an emergency backup.
