Openradar ATC (Air Traffic Control) @sunnylife
After having presented the details of Cebu City Airport on the Phillipines in the previous article, we now come to the practical application of the special approach route from north-west. With the Tu-95-MR I start in Tacloban, about 160 km north of Cebu City and after a short flight I can make the radio contact with the Tower in Cebu City and am safely guided by @sunnylife as ATC to the airport. The first approach is terminated according to schedule and after a pattern flight the second approach does also not work properly. For this, however, I must note that the Tu-95 is an aircraft that is not easy to control and requires a lot of experience to deal with the special features, in particular the curve has a very large radius. Therefore, the right directions are only given after some exercise at the right moment, but it is not keeping @sunnylife from trying again and again. A great achievement from her!
Nachdem ich im vorhergehen Artikel den Flughafen Cebu City auf den Phillipinen mit allen Details vorgestellt habe kommen wir nun zu der praktischen Anwendung der speziellen Anflugroute von Nord-West. Mit der Tu-95-MR starte ich in Tacloban, etwa 160 km nördlich von Cebu City und nach kurzer Flugzeit kann ich den Radiokontakt mit dem Tower in Cebu City herstellen und werde von @sunnylife als ATC sicher zum Flughafen geleitet. Der erste Anflug wird planmäßig abgebrochen und nach einer Platzrunde gelingt auch der zweite Anflug nicht richtig. Dazu muß ich allerdings anmerken, daß die Tu-95 ein nicht ganz einfach zu kontrollierendes Flugzeug ist und entsprechend viel Erfahrung notwendig ist um auf die Besonderheiten einzugehen, insbesondere der Kurvenflug hat einen sehr großen Radius. Daher sind die Richtungsangaben erst nach einiger Übung im richtigen Moment zu geben, was aber @sunnylife nicht davon abhält es wieder und wieder zu versuchen. Eine großartige Leistung von ihr!
