Auction Finds - Vintage Oscilloscopes
I love the word "oscilloscope", it sounds almost like a sneeze! I may have done an oscilloscope post previously, but I just listed a new batch and decided to share them as they are simply awesome. I loved playing with the knobs to get the little green line to...do things!
This one at the bottom is an alignmentscope. These oscilloscopes are not strictly auction finds, as we picked them up at a local scrapyard, lying in the rain and mud. After we cleaned them most of them worked. I have sold them online in the shop and at other auctions, and we probably have at least 100 left! The initial investment was R2000 ($153) and I am selling them for R450 ($34,50) each.

Nice find and coverage. I have used oscilloscopes in my former avatar as an engineers (ages ago) and can appreciate all the fun you can have with the green wiggly lines! Nostalgic feeling for me. Thanks Upvoted and followed

Cool thing and cool that you sell them... I wonder what they are used for, though? Fancy table-sculptures?
I think some are bought for ornamental purposes, but I asked one of the customers in the shop once what he was going to do with it and he told me he used them in testing computer spares???!!!
