How prepared are you

The most tragic thing to happen to anyone is to be unprepared when one meets opportunity. Unfortunately, many of us don’t even know what opportunity is. We go out there looking for opportunity when we have many before our nose. A true story is told of a man who became a millionaire by selling pickaxes and shovels when everyone was rushing for gold. Thus, the saying goes: if everyone is digging for gold, sell the shovel.Those who look for gold outside before looking for the gold inside of them will eventually lose both. Those who look for gold first inside of them before looking for the gold outside will find both. Now, wind is to a sailor what life is to us. Sometimes, it’s boisterous. Sometimes it’s calm. But the problem is not the wind but with us. Like Edmund Gibbon once said, “The wind and the waves are always on the side of the ablest navigator.” A good sailor knows where he is going. He knows he cannot change the direction of the wind, so he adjusts his sail to reach his destination. Be strategic!
