Be respectful

Just as the eyes cannot rise higher than the brow, a child cannot be older than his father. He can be taller than his father but not older. You know, everyone has been a child before but not every child becomes an adult. This thought should give every child a sober view of life. Unfortunately, that is usually not the case. Children often think they understand life better than their parents. Are you a child reading this? Let me give this simple advice I rather learnt the hard way: you may have more more book knowledge than the adult folks in your house but even a high IQ cannot compare to wisdom. If you are wise, you will make good use of the experience of your elders so you won't repeat their mistakes. In other words, "listen to your elders' advice, not because they are always right, but because they have more experience of being wrong". Don't get it twisted. There is a difference between exuberance and experience. Be respectful!
