Look Upwards: Full Blood Wolf Moon Eclipse
Looking upwards tonight you may be fortunate to see the eclipse of the Full Blood Wolf Moon in the celestial heavens.
Some may think this is an omen the end is near and the long predicted apocalypse has been fulfilled.
Thankfully, these prophecies never seem to come to fruition.
I think it does mean something of a change to us earthlings, either personally or worldwide. Perhaps a significant change in the weather or something dramatic on the political front.

It’s a super moon because of the closeness to earth and the moon will appear larger.
A blood moon because it has a tint of red color.
January’s full Moon was traditionally called the Full Wolf Moon by some Native American tribes and early settlers. It was a time when hungry wolves could be heard howling outside villages.
Not only is tonight a full wolf moon it is a lunar eclipse. It will be the last lunar eclipse until 2021.
It’s safe to look at the lunar eclipse with the naked eye.
My eyes will be on the skies. I hope to get a glimpse of this big bad moon this evening.

The lunar eclipse will be visible from North and South America, and western parts of Europe and Africa.
Some other continents will see a partial eclipse of the Moon.

Your not stupid Cowboy. Not the eclipse. I just saw how beautiful the full moon was that close to the earth the next night.

Actually it has 10 C (50 F) this evening. It wouldn’t last but I am enjoying the warmer weather for a few days.
If a bad snow or ice storm usually the schools will be closed. If they are closed then about everything closes down for the day.

Oh the kids here wish they could get some snow days! it's quite mild, about 60 degrees today. Tonight it's supposed to get to 29 so that's darn cold for down here! lol. I doubt if we'll get a single snow flake this winter.

Thanks @tangmo. The evening was rain and cloudy here so it was a disappointment as I kept checking the sky all evening. The next night it was still visible so I did see it. I saw it smile down on us kindly. 😊
