Earth Day 2019, just ended what is your commitment and dedication to Mother Earth?

The wonderful gifts of nature to our planet earth(mother earth) are the millions of plant and animal species that we know, care and love but with many more still to be discovered. Today, we have unfortunately upset this lovely balance of nature in an irrevocable way and as a consequence the world is facing the greatest threats in the rates of extinction and environmental degradation.
I am therefore on the Earth Day, 2019 committed to contribute in the conservation of this lovely nature and our beautiful environment and to have this accomplished, i have since last year, 2018 been working relentlessly as a volunteer at The Greens-International (NGO) which is a grass root Environmental Non-Governmental Organization in Cameroon which was founded in 2010, participating in all her programmes and Actions such as;

• Campaigns to end plastic pollution, here i have been actively engaged in plastic bottle up-cycling to produce tree nursery pots, vertical gardens, tires to produce gardens, green radio programmes to create awareness, tree planting activities in communities and schools, earth rangers programme at the Greens to nurture children who will love nature and the environment as well as to know the importance of tree planting.
  In the same like, we committed to produce food crops to ensure food security in a sustainable manner so that environmental degradation can be averted and this can be done through usage of proper agronomic practices, conversion of marginal lands into production , discourage deforestation while encouraging re-afforestation both at individual and community levels, etc.
  The earth thus is a unique planet, and everything therein is inter -related with no component solely on its own. Therefore, our collective commitment to better mother earth from this day will witness a great change and together we can actually do it, let us do it for mother earth, for the environment, for us.
