More than one million of animal species are at the blink of extinction as well as several plant species. There continue to be an imbalance in our natural environments due to our activities which are rather in an increasing rate. The effects of this natural imbalance are at our doorsteps being, increased temperatures, droughts, floods, Hurricanes, earthquakes, landslides, diseases, alteration in crop cycles etc.
However, we can collectively halt this by offsetting this imbalance through activities such loving nature, planting of trees, curbing pollution, proper waste management approaches, improving on marginal lands for agriculture, etc. This consequently requires our collective engagements as the effect are felt by all irrespective of race, age, sex, religion etc, and the time is now.

We must change our way of life.
Accumulation of goods that we do not need is a behavior we must change.
Unlearn the urge to consume without limit and educate youth how to balance our way of life with nature.
