Yavor - the mighty voice of blues
Hi folks,
Ive received many questions about my partner Yavor Ivanov, the great guitar player who appears in most of the videos I share here on steemit. You aked me if he could also sing. Oh, yes, he can. Hes a hell of a blues singer.
I first noticed Yavor in the 1990s when he was still a teenager. He had amazing skills as a guitar player and a great voice. When he was 17 he won a singing TV contest in Bulgaria. I noticed that even back then he had a developed male tenor voice that most 17-year-olds could only dream of. Later he gained local popularity performing with other musicians and solo in clubs.
When I offered him to work with me in our band BEREG he agreed but always rejected interviews and stood away from cameras and reporters. He prefered to contribute to the bands sound by playing amazing guitar parts and smiling humbly when people applauded us. Heres a recording of him performing two Whitesnake covers in a local club.
