You should work for tabletop companies. A lot more relaxed and creative room, even if the pay isn't as good. Or sell stock art. Then you can draw what you want and make some money :)

A few years ago I would have followed these advices, as that was exactly the path I was following.
For now I try to focus on abstracts paintings, mostly getting out of the illustration field, taking slowly computers away from the creative process.
Back to the basics :)
I don't feel like I'd be flexible enough to comply again to professional client's criterias like I would have been in the past. That might change, but for now I have the feeling I have something to find out while painting.
Some weird spiritual stuff animating my creative mind :)
Anyways, at some point I'll probably have to sell or dump these paintings... That begins to take some room at home :D
