ADVENT RISING 🍃☀️🌡️-- Hey friends, I'm in the midst of Summer madness, with the season gearing up for full production, I'm expanding to capturing video content of creating some of these awesome illustrations I've lined up over the time. All begin as rough sketches, either in ink or graphite pencil, after transferred to a Final Medium by tracing sheet, then inked by hand on archival paper. Each illustration takes about a week to complete from beginning to end, however, with increasing complexity, more intricate designs require total preparation and set up to ensure a quality finish. Basically, with each of these videos, I hope to connect with my audience a unique perspective in the magic of the craft and watch along in an idea come together. My Patreon subscribers really do get the most value of what I create: unlock hi-res images, digital downloads, #bts content, and even giclee prints on higher tiers. Really neat drawing, Craig, I can imagine this fully coloured, since its linearts are very dynamic ... and I think the vermilion signifier at the title is so evocative ! Very lovely work <3
Yeah, its a rough sketch right now, but phase iii will take transfer lines to the Final Art. For this commission, the client is collaborating with a tattoo artist that will complete the Final color. The set is inspired by the Four Seasons Japanese mythological gods;
