Crystal Expansion - Outdoor Mural Art piece with Process shots

I love painting outside, specially when the sun is out and i have plenty of time and spray paints.
Here is one of my mural done at the start of the summer, i wanted to have some fun with colors and shapes and go freestyle and abstract like my heart.

PROCESS:

I always start clean, fresh prime color to the wall to delete everything that was under, it helps me get ideas, warm the muscles and think clearly about what i want to do.

While the paint is drying i do a mini color test with the paint i got to see what colors match and the vibe of the piece.

I pick my first color to play with...this time it we are going with Dark pink. i try to make a classic wavy shapes to give structure and fun start.

Once i am happy with the piece i feel better about making more and more parts, different colors and shapes, i add light green to the mix and add more wavy vibes.

And now comes the fun part, adding the crystals in Black thin lines. i love doing them, they make me happy, they are crystals but some people called the fries :)

And now to close the deal i fill in the outsides in black to make the piece pop more and start out.

Done and Done.

Hope you like, the piece took a couple of hours and lasted a few days before it got covered, thats how it is on the streets, it come and goes like the wind.
