STUDIO UPDATE 11
This past weekend flew by. I tried to work as much as I could in the studio. This week I will be working late at Chicago EXPO on navy pier. I will probably do a Steemit Post on the stuff that I see there.
This is the one I'm working on tonight. Im going to add stripes on the tapes off colors. Complementary stripes, that is. Stripes of the complementaty color to the color that is taped off. Complementary color meaning the OPPOSITE color of that which you see, so as to strongly complement the color that is next to it. Colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel.

oh wait ! hehe, My friend NECKBEERD (erik lundquist) put his apartment on craigslist and also sent the notifications over instagram story to see if anyone wanted to rent his spot.
He has a painting of mine hanging over his bed.
Looks way better than I remember it. Probably because of the dark walls. very stoked to see that. :)

hmm. so yeah, this is the painting I first decided to use the cosmic patten via complementary colors. My work is about energy, space, and time. Vibration is a key element in all of that. To get the colors to opitcally vibrate, using complementary colors, might be advantageous.
computers can be useful :)
(painting during the golden hour has unique effects in my studio. the light shines from the side as it sets in the west and really shows all the texture!)
this took a while to paint. probably 3 hours...
and the best part - removing the tape!
ill try to stick to my schedule of posting every day and STUDIO UPDATES every Tuesday and Thursday

These are incredible, it must be nerve wracking painting over huge areas as in b8eront45 when it looks so great already. But it really paid off and I guess you have to trust in the vision. Of course I now want to try this technique out myself!!!
