Hello Steemies,
Good day to all artstorm people. I hope you are enjoying the process of this contest as much as I do. Click the link and join the contest. Every thought I put in the creative process could be random or perhaps just an afterthought, in other words nothing is ever planned even if we already have a preview of the week's prompt. I guess that's what makes it challenging and interesting plus the fact that we are under a time pressure.
The Blue Bells
Scene 16: Parade
Chri Chri and the field mouse are now safe. The driver of the purple fast car managed to make a quick halt when he noticed the two running and chasing. Harris forgot about the chicks in the park and went on running trying to catch the bunny. Just when he is about to cross the street the traffic lights signalled STOP. He is panting while catching his breath standing still. All of a sudden a marching band appeared making a loud parade music. Trumpets, cymbals, drums all making a beautiful sound. For a moment, Harris felt elated and even more joyful when the floats came gliding in. There were floats about whimsical fairies, funny cartoon characters, robots, flowers, and mermaids.
The mermaid float stopped in front of Harris. The innocent boy was thinking if these mermaids are for real. The blue and orange tails look live and beg to be touched. The scales look so deceivingly real. Every float is a pleasant surprise for Harris and the crowd. Looks like time had stopped for little Harris as he got lost in a sea of people. The mermaid s are pretty with their smiles and waving hands.
