Artstorm Contest #19 Day 4 - Theme Today - Kite Flying

Hey Everyone,

Thank you to everyone who entered yesterday. Later today, I'll choose the winners and award the prizes.

Artstorm is a contest for challenging yourself and having fun!

Artstorm Contest #19 will run every day from 9th to 13th April inclusive (5 days altogether).

Each day I post a theme. Entrants should create a quick picture using the medium of their choice.

YOU HAVE 15 MINUTES TO CREATE IT. PLEASE USE THAT TIME.

The theme today is 'kite flying'.

There are two categories for your entries:

Digital Art

Non-digital Art

YOUR ENTRY MUST BE YOUR OWN ORIGINAL WORK RELATING TO THE THEME. I CHECK THE SEARCH ENGINES FOR IMAGE COPYING.

You don't need to be an artist to enter and you don't need to enter every day.

You can enter once in each category. You don't need to enter both the categories.

Every day there is a prize of 0.250 SBD in each category paid the next day for the entry I like best and I think has followed the rules.

I need at least 3 entries for a theme to choose a daily winner in the category. If less than three people enter for a theme in one of the categories, the prize of 0.250 SBD won't be awarded that day.

This is what you need to do:

• Make a post for your entry with the title 'Entry for Artstorm Contest #19 - Kite Flying'.

• State clearly which category you are entering, on your entry post.

• Make the first tag #artstorm.

• Leave a link to your post in the comments below. This is to help me find it.

• Upvote and resteem this post. This is a condition of entry. I ask all entrants to do this as it helps me afford to pay the prizes. If this is not done your entries will not be considered for the prize.

It is your responsibility to upvote and resteem my post.

I don’t accept children's work as entries for the prizes in the Artstorm Contests but you are welcome to post them for us to see. Photography is also no longer accepted.

The entry closing time each day is 9:00 am UTC the following day (Follow this link for a time zone converter.)

I pray for you to little sister everyday since the day We met. Hang in there friend, I’m rooting for you, me and God your Father. We see that you’ll do miraculous things in your future because you love ❤️God and you worship Him. Sometimes we feel that He’s not listening, but I’ve found out that he does because it always works out. And He will test your faith. The key to being a good daughter to your Father in heaven is “ BE THANKFUL FOR All THINGS” and really mean it, because you can learn from pain. And share it with others, to in turn help them. It’s hard to do sometimes, but it can be done friend. I wake up every morning thank and praising God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon me. There are so many people who have severe health problems, eating out of garbage cans, have no roof over there heads, being abused so on and so forth...... I can think of a million reasons I am blessed, I all day long I am with God thanking Him for all things. I would feel like a spoiled person if I didn’t thank Him for all the gifts. Not just for only for the material things, but for being blessed by Gods mercy to know he really exist and that I truly believe in Jesus Christ my savior, without a shadow of doubt, that was given by Him to me. The absolute most precious gift 🎁 of all. We are so blessed @ashley4u so many people don’t know Him. I came from a very, very poor family. Lived five years out in the wilderness in Arizona up near the southern end of the Grand Canyon, it was very beautiful there. There was eight people in my family my father was a dropout he was a cook and my mother stayed home. My Dad move us to this area because he bought two acres of land for $200.00. The land was cheap because there was know running water or electricity there. So I had a hard childhood. My father was an awful father, a very abusive person, I was blessed to have a lovely tenderhearted and caring mother that helped heal some wounds in my soul. Through it all walking with God I learned to forgive my earthly Dad, I found out latter that my grandfather was a monster, his own dad, I never knew him, my dad hated him and we were not allowed to talk about him. I never knew about my dads hideous childhood he had himself. In my adult years however he told me through God’s miracles, I could lay down my hate, I understood that my dad had no good role models. He was a better father than his own father was. Who knows how far up the family tree this horrible abuse started. But anyways I forgave my father through loving Jesus and realizing we must love our enemies, and forgiving those who trespass against us. I never walked in my dads shoes. And we don’t truly know a persons mind, however God does, God is the only judge. My biological father is 82 now, he’s been saved God turned his life around my Dad and I have a good relationship, I broke the chain of abuse by treating my family with respect and tender love. But it took my earthly dad to show me the wrong way to go and how to treat others, valuable lessons I would never regret. My wonderful mother past away five years ago as I held her hand. She had come to Christ to a few years be fore she past away with a massive stroke. I was so blessed she went peacefully, knowing God. And I know for a fact that I’ll see here in heaven someday. And God blessed my father I prayed to God that he be saved and He was, so he’ll be there as we’ll. Only one of my siblings have come to Christ, but the rest are still living and I pray always for them. I truly hate know one, I did at one time, God brought me through it friend by praying for more love to come into my heart and He did it. God says in the Bible it’s possible, first you have to pray truly with all your heart to want to become a better person because hating is a sin. He will desolve that pain and hatred in time. It works loving friend @ashley4u and it will give you such peace. God bless you, I wrote a book again I’m one to do that, hope you don’t mind I feel you are not as happy as you could be my lovely and beautiful little sister. 😢😢😢😢 Thank you sis for sharing your story with me , I see how much of pain you went through , and I see the depth of faith you have . I also pray for the same things , for my family , all 4 of us to know god , and pray together , one day. And all our earthly problems to be solved . I pray that we all have peace through Christ. Because after all , we could say things through our mouth , but our heart could still be paining . So only Jesus can ultimately heal the wounds and remove our problems. So I am also giving it all to god @lildebbiecakes sis ❤️❤️ , I didn't know how much you had to go through 😢😢😢 I'm sorry sis ❤️. May God bring your other siblings too , to god. I pray my family too . Thank you again sis for this message.

AHHH sweet ashley4u, I’m now really at peace and anything God decides, is the right way. I truly believe that my other siblings will come to know Christ. I leave it in God’s hands. I just pray for them every day. And spreading love and the Gospel around the world. That’s my life, and sister I have a beautiful life trust me❣️I ♥️You sister!

The colors you chose for this drawing are so calming and beautiful @dinglehopper. A little sun behind the clouds of pink and orange is lovely to look at. Nice friend, love the story to❣️
