in #artisteem6 years ago

Artwork Image
I'm experimenting with shapes and see what I abstract lines I could create. Starting with baby steps and use some editing skills for this piece.

Process

Drawing the draft in Black Gel Pen on a scratch paper

Darkening the lines with Black Gel Pen

Darkening the lines in Photoshop. I inverted the image and didn't bother cleaning the blurry edges. That's not the endpoint. I'll be stacking up the images and play around the layers afterwards.

Thank you. Yes, I stacked the image, resized some and then only used portions of the image on some layers pretending like the entire image was a brush. I never done it before so I'm happy with the outcome of the experiment.

I was using a different account when I posted the response and I realized this now :P
