Significance of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare
Artificial Intelligence is becoming increasingly popular in all walks of life. Healthcare is one of the most important field, which is directly connected with all individuals. Now, the average lifespan constantly increasing due to better and better healthcare facilities, it is estimated that more than 12% of the world population will be above the age of 65 by the year 2030.
In this circumstance, it is very important that the medicines for old-age-related illnesses should be developed at a faster pace. At present, it takes more than 10 long years for a medicine to be developed. Even after developing, only less than 1 out of 10 medicines pass the clinical trials and reach the people. It is here the artificial intelligence come to the help of humanity.
AI (Artificial Intelligence) can be used to develop molecules of medicines which can combat with the viruses which cause illness. In addition to effectively developing the best possible medicines, it helps targeting the medicines accurately so that only the affected area are exposed to the medicine.
It is very sure that AI will be the hero of the next coming decades.
