I. The Process 🖥

I looked for some reference photo in Google since I can't draw and I saw this. An epic old samurai photo and I decided to use this one.

• I'm using Adobe Illustrator for this process and I'm still exploring more techniques on making a digital art.

• I really enjoy the tracing part, it gives me the freedom on the stroke and make it more edgy.

• I decided to use the color black on the shadow, same color for the stroke so it will fit.

• I'm using 3 pt or pixels on my strokes to make it more bold and edgy.

II. Coloring Part 🖌

Same as the dress up game, I'm doing the colors and placing it under the traced line layer. For this art, I'm using normal colors such as shade of brown and shade of gray. You can check at the right side what colors I used for this.

• I'm trying new things in illustrating. This time, I used Gradient color for the shading part between shadows.

III. Adding the Dragon 🐲

As I have mentioned before that drawing is my kryptonite. So, I decided to look for some reference and I saw this cute dragon.

• So, I bring it up to illustrator and do some experimenting.

• Still same method, I do tracing and after the coloring part. I only used two colors of red for this dragon.

• Adding some finishing details..

And VOILA!
