Artexplosion week 46 theme "Masks"

Hello everyone, welcome to my new project

I am very excited to show it to you all, this is for the artexplosion week 46
And this is my idea for the theme : "Masks"

I was wondering what would be a fun project for this theme.
And was brainstorming about the word "mask" then I came up with sleeping mask.
I gathered all of my stuff and started drawing what I had in mind.
With all the variety of fabrics I have chosen a blue fabric for one side but needed to make my mask more interesting and darker for functional reasons. I found a old dress in my collection of fabric that was made to chop pieces off and saw great piece with gold ornaments what was perfect for this mask!

If you look at the college you can see I made a sketch first. What I had in mind was to get a text line on top of the sleeping mask that was Steemit related. I wrote some short sentences down and picked one that I thought was fitting the most for this theme😉
I grabbed my transfer paper and printed the sentence out to iron it on the mask later.

To bad my lable began to fray, I didn't want to leave the pics out for you 👍

Here is as I told you earlier, the moment that the hot iron makes it nice and smooth and makes sure I got the sentence all clear on the mask! I love it when development finds place💕
