ART EXPLOSION WEEK 33: Theme SURREAL
For God’s Glory
Hello fellow Steemians, here’s my entry for this weeks “ART EXPLOSION WEEK 33 - THEME: SURREAL”. Thank you @juliakponsford for running this contest check out the details [ here ] if you’d like to participate. Also thanks to special sponsor and guest judge @vachemorte.
All the artwork that I create here on Steemit I always try to convey the feelings, or a message of love, humor, happiness, peace, and quite often God. 99% of the time I can pull it off, but there’s that 1% of themes that I just can’t imagine getting any of those feelings or messages across to the viewer. So I choose not to participate. Now that’s just my thing. And I have promised God that all that I do I will glorify Him. And that’s not just in art, that pertains in “everything” that I do or say in life.
Reflection
I strive to practice this continually throughout every moment of my day, therefore trying to become more like Jesus Christ. Basically I’m just trying to reflect Jesus and his loving, kind, and patient ways. God is in me always, and I know he can work through me also, and I am very conscientious and aware of it always. I personally believe that people have got to see with their eyes, and hear with their ears that you walk with Jesus if you claim to be a Christian. And I believe you shouldn’t claim to be a Christian if you can’t treat other people with respect, compassion, kindness, forgiveness, and understanding.
If you can’t pray for people who you consider evil to come to Christ Jesus instead of praying that they would be killed, I believe you shouldn’t call yourself a Christian because you are not reflecting Jesus, you are reflecting the Devil.
Luke 23:34
Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
Strive Daily
We are all sinners, Jesus was the only perfect person that walked upon this planet. I know I’ll never be perfect like Him here on earth, but I want to strive everyday to please God, embrace my discomfort while I learn from it, and simply become a more loving and compassionate wife, mother, daughter, friend, soldier of love for Jesus!
I believe there’s “ALWAYS” room for improvement! But that’s my own beliefs, and everyone has his or her own beliefs, and that’s ok.
I can honestly say friends, I love ❤️ each and every one of you, and if you can’t believe that is truly possible then that’s ok too, I know God believes it.
I tried very hard to think of a surreal image I could draw for God that would portray His love for us, I decided to pray and ask Him for help and to take my hands to draw something strange, yet understandable.
This is the image that He gave me. And it slowly came to life right before my eyes. God is good! Bless you God, for allowing your Son Jesus to die on the Cross so we could be saved!
Creation Process
I drew all this with the iPad Procreate App Digitally. My drawing process is shown by the YouTube movie(2:25min) that my husband @sighmanjestah made with iMovie using the Procreate time-lapse replay feature including the soundtrack of David Szesztay titled appropriately “Prayer” from his album Atmospheric Electric Guitar available [ here ]

Ahh your a sweetheart Troy I’m very blessed God had you come into my life love❣️May God bless you with your incredible loving ministry to @enjoywithtroy. Your doing a fantastic job for Jesus even during a storm. We can learn valuable lessons from this lifelong roller coasters ride. If we didn’t have storms we wouldn’t appreciate those rainbows 🌈. Would we be thankful, if we never experienced pain? Would you ever want help from God ? Would you even care to know him? Would you seek him? Does God know this? I believe these are good questions to ponder upon, I know it’s helped me to think about these questions in the past when I’ve thought to myself, why is this happening to me? I’ve found out there’s always a reason for it. And you may not know the answer to the question right away, but God will always reveal it to you of course in his time when it is the perfect time. And by golly it always is.

Thank you so much @omdesign, Im following you now I checked out your blog and recognize your drawings that I’ve seen in the art community. Brilliant designs, amazing artist. I recognized the ominous dragon that you entered into this particular contest truly magnificent. I thought wow, stiff competition here. There’s some incredibly beautiful entries here. I’m new to Steemit and I can’t believe all these amazing artists I see here. It’s fun to see how they create there works of art. I love it. Good luck yourself, and bless you.
Aside from the art that is great especially to me who can't use drawing apps at all, I like this writing a lot. I usually read my daily scripture before I sleep instead of in the morning, so reading this at work is actually refreshing and serve as a reminder for me. The past few days I have had bad thought about a certain person at work and I couldn't bring myself to pray for her as I should have, instead I decided to ignore and keep the 'dislike' feeling in me, even going as far as to join my other colleagues to gossip about said person. I know God tell us to love our enemies too and I have not been able to do it these few days. I feel blessed by this writing. God bless you
I’m so blessed to here that this post touched your heart ❤️ by the words @fleurinna that God and I wrote. So wonderful to help someone. I believe this is why God had lead me hear to Steemit. It’s so beautiful that you are studying the Bible and understand that you must love your enemies. And that simply means to pray for them instead of hate them. Praying that they will find, and follow Jesus and his ways, and to except Him as their savior. Also by doing this your showing God you love Him by loving your enemies. He’s all about loving and forgiving.
“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
