Mixed Bugs - Original Art and Video

This is a mixed media artwork I created. It is on a 7 x 19 inch (17.78 x 48.26 cm) wood canvas. I used Acrylic and Oil paint along with dry leafs,flower petals and pieces of plastic.

It is supposed to represent some sort of insect like creature.

Love it - kind of a cute little clockwork dragonfly. Love the colors and especially the use of dried leaves and plastic gears - the close up pictures give a better sense of the 3 dimensionality of it
