ART EXPLOSION WEEK 44: Theme REBELLION "Martin Luther King"
Hello friends, this is my entry to the contest sponsored by Julia ART EXPLOSION WEEK 44: Theme REBELLION.
On this occasion I wanted to draw a man who was a fighter, Martin Luther King, was at the head of a movement called, "Movement for the Civil Rights of African Americans." He led a rebellion as it were, since he did not accept and was in against segregation and racial discrimination but I always insist on rebelling in peace.
Phrases known as: "We have learned to fly like birds, to swim like fish but we have not learned the simple art of living as brothers", are still remembered in honor of this great man goes this drawing, I hope you like it.
Here I show you the step by step of the drawing.
I started making the sketch with a HB pencil a little irregular and later corrected.
With a pencil 3B draw the eyes leaving the white a small space to simulate the reflection of light.
To make the shadows use a small brush like the one shown in the photo, I gently gave it shadow leaving blank spaces to reflect the light.
With the same brush I did the same thing with the rest of the face and with a 3B pencil and a 6B I did the mustaches, For the lips use a 2B for the upper lip and a 4H for the lower one and with an eraser remove the brightness
For hair use a pencil 8B
In this part highlight a bit the lines of the suit and then draw with a pencil 8B and with a napkin to blur to give it texture.
Here the resutado
