ARTQUEST TRAIL #12
The man falls asleep while the woman lies awake. OR is that a man, these days, it doesn't have to be ;) At any rate, it seems like the typical story. Man comes to bed after drinking all night, does a mechanical job in the sack and sends her an IOU, piles and and piles of them. Every time, the chasm and space between them widens and the woman is left with her breast bare and her toy to play with. Maybe there's hope, in the land of dreams, the dove could say that much. Maybe this is a dream, and it isn't that bad. Yet the space on the bed grows, and minds have different aims, different directions, different goals, different sides of the bed, but not in the traditional sense.
